It's a very good film. Better conceptually, but well done. I can see the logical outcome for many dirtbag boys.

One of my biggest beefs: rural counties in Western Washington have FTTH. All the counties around Thurston county and Olympia. But we have a super strong Comcast monopoly. Wiring offices in the state capital city. Forced to Comcast business for a fortune.

It's hard to explain to people the fact that we literally had a giant autonomous machine that was spread out all over the country and just... worked. Probably the largest "machine" ever built. Thousands of technicians keeping it humming, and not a semiconductor in sight.

Went years ago when I had an entire morning with nothing to do. Got the tour (and donated) of everything, then just wandered around in awe for an hour. The fact that there are multiple systems, all functional, is astounding. I could spend days just poking around if I had the chance.

Same. I may not like him, but he respects the system. And really, the way it's supposed to work.
