Apparently the guy who broke the wwe/aaa deal is saying it. It does seem odd that as soon as they got the deal, wwe would be the ones to drop them. The only thing I could think of is once they got the deal tna made it clear they weren't going to sell and wwe cut bait.

It's not that too unbelievable if you pull the curtain back. amc is run by noted mcmahon family friend and msg owner james dolan, so between the fed trying to broker a deal plus amc's obsession with keeping the Walking Dead on the air, tna was a natural fit.
