my personal take on some chapter art from the upcoming Pillars of Creation, the Exalted: Essence companion book #exalted
The scene is a battlefield at night. Soldiers flee from a man who calmly stands in the center of the image. Bright yellow-green light radiates from him, and where the light touches the fleeing soldiers their bodies crumble to ash and their armor melts. The man is tall and handsome. He has loose auburn hair and a serene but triumphant expression. He wears only a blacksmithing apron slung around his waist. He has lean muscle and pale skin with just a hint of bronze tone. His eyes burn with the same unearthly green light. He holds an ornate brass sword in his right hand and the other is open, facing the viewer. Despite looking human there is something alien and unearthly about him.
