...and before someone points it out, yes, this does also have a roguelike mode...but it's not -just- that so people can enjoy what they like! Loving the pixel art too, this is super duper up my alley and I can't wait to try it!

I just picked up Yars Rising on a Steam sale, but probs gonna save it for future stream backlog, so I won't be able to watch that sadly. However, I'm gonna try my best to find time for In Stars and Time soon so I can watch you play that!! Maybe I'll play weekly alongside you, that sounds fun :D

You know what my votes/preferences are, but if you want to stick with shorter games before the new year, then just go with either Cat Quest 2, Yars Rising or Tunic! You got like 4-5 streams, so 20-ish hours should be plenty for any of those C:

I also did the same thing with NintendoLife & IGN's recent Top 100 Nintendo games and got 77 played + 4 on backlog. Makes sense having a much bigger played to unplayed ratio there with me being a mostly Nintendo guy 😅

Oh and no preference on VTuber or not personally. Ultimately, it's what you want to do/most comfortable with! I know a decent amount of viewers like having a cam/VTuber to better have a face to match with the voice and see the reactions, but it's not necessary, really.

I personally do it solely for the archiving since Twitch shit the bed on that front, but removed the chat since it was barely being used and it had bad vibes in my experience. Feel like YT chat makes more sense if your YouTube is bigger/main content. Lots of valid reasons to do it or not either way!

All depends on what you want out of using your YouTube. Do you want it for better archiving since your streams get lost to time? Are you doing it to attempt to expand your audience? Do you want to deal with 2 chats or not? Do you want to keep it as an LP-type/upload channel? Lots to consider!
