All the dropkicks who shouldn’t get to vote
Act says new electoral law changes only got rid of the 100,000 dropkicks who shouldn’t get to vote anyway. But why stop there?

Passport langauge order, Winston's Aotearoa tantrums, the electoral enrolment changes... etc, don't make butter cheaper or address any real cost of living issues. No, they just play to the frothing at the mouth, racist, angry white boomer parts of N/ACT/NZF support base before the next election.

Luxon on RNZ this morning blahs on about governments getting re-elected because they focus on 'what matters to people' - Ingrid Hipkiss then completely missses the chance to ask him then why his coalition is so concerned about who uses bathrooms or dobbing in road cones.

Thailand has stopped importing plastic waste from countries like New Zealand in an effort to curb toxic pollution in the country.

What is ‘waste colonialism’ and why has Thailand banned imports of plastic?
China had taken in nearly half of the world’s plastic waste since 1992 until it imposed an import ban in 2018.

I can’t get over how cartoonishly evil this is

putting in your fucking “hate speech” policy that a particular kind of hate speech against a particular group of people is explicitly allowed - and therefore encouraged - is the kind of shit that should be done from a volcano lair with a shark moat
Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.
