To paraphrase Tony Benn....

1. What Power Have You Got
2. Where Did You Get It From
3. In Whose Interests Do You Exercise It
4. To Whom Are You Accountable
5. How Can We Get Rid Of You

If you can't leave the "voluntary union", you don't live in a democratic system!

Anyone remember when the UK asked Putin to speak on their behalf against Scottish Independence? Was about a month before Russia invaded & annexed Crimea (with little to no UK opposition).

There may be a vacancy in the newsroom of BBC Scotland for reporting this success story. 😂

It's actually worth pointing out that it is NOT the @snp.org that get this money, It's the Scottish government who gets it & it is revenue generated for the people of Scotland.

More like a bunch of racist thugs terrorising children thinking it makes them look big. Don’t know where the school is but I would expect the police to be there to move them on.

Since the government sold its remaining stake in NatWest six months ago, shareholders have done well: the share price is near a record high, up 15% since full privatisation, and the bank posted £5.8bn in pre-tax profits for the first three quarters of 2025. But workers are faring less well.

💯 I had my own business, married , kids, house, car, the whole shebang. Marriage broke down (we're best of friends now), Bipolar diagnosis, business closing all led to me ultimately ending up on welfare. And it all happened so quickly too. I survived but would never have imagined it . 🤯
You are all one divorce, one accident, one mortgage /rent payment default, one death , one unplanned set of circumstances from seeking support that could lead to you needing welfare support . Your chapters are not yet written.
