Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day.
I highly recommend this book (even if you don't qualify as a "young people") We're reading it (and others) for history this year and it's eye opening. Of course I knew things were bad, but the word "bad" really doesn't begin to describe it.

I would never chase waterfalls! Raindrops however...
I was at Papago Park for portrait sessions and I went early because it had rained and I didn't want to miss my chance at raindrops. Some day I will invest in a macro lens for this kind of work.

The desert is waking up and, as usual, I am absolutely giddy about it! We have flowers, seeds pods, leaves and cactus pads. All new and bright and beautiful!

The desert is waking up and, as usual, I am absolutely giddy about it! We have flowers, seeds pods, leaves and cactus pads. All new and bright and beautiful!
