I actually saw two black led metal bands in concert (where I went in my first mosh pit.)
Oxymorrons and Sleep Theory. I also highly recommend them!

I really hope Wastelandia improves, and I also hope that more indie creators take the example of what a pilot should be, and apply it to their own.

Indie animation is growing, and nobody wants it to get molded into this form of unhealthy perfectionism.

This is coming from someone who just thought the pilot was ok. But I want it to keep going to see how it improves.

Now of course, Hazbin and Digital Circus do that too, but they feel too… polished, and it gives audiences an unrealistic expectations on what a pilot SHOULD be.

I’ve learned a lot working on my own show, and to quote my friend:

“Pilots are supposed to be a bit rough, but shows the characters, how they interact, a simple scenario, and what’s going on in their lives outside.”

This pilot accomplishes that.

I think people (including me) forget what a pilot is supposed to be. It’s always gonna be rough, there’s gonna be issues, and that’s ok.

Not every pilot has to be Hazbin or Digital Circus, they’re usually reserved to just give an idea on what the show could be.

Also I can’t look at the director’s name without thinking Fred Fucks.

About time someone mentions this! This was the first Wedgies short I’ve seen as a kid, and as an adult, I’m using it as reference material for my own music based series!

I am aware there are still bad people out there, but fearing them is what they want. Most of the time, homophobes aren’t actually dangerous, just either ignorant or very pathetic. Don’t prop them up, or you’ll do more damage to people like me than you realize.

It’s pretty much led me to become very distrustful of them, to a point where I believe those people are actually homophobes in disguise trying to keep us away from society.

What it says is that you want us to become paranoid nutcases who refuse to leave their house for fear of getting attacked the SECOND they set foot outside.
I don’t want that life. I want to be go out and be myself, but the paranoia crowd said I can’t or I’ll die!

Reminds me of this guy who announced 18 indie projects, but all he did was argue with random people, and used ai for his concept art, despite saying he was anti ai.

I feel like the team at Sunflower club should take these concerns into consideration. I still love indie animation day and I still want them to keep going. I’m just concerned about how the state of it is starting to affect other indie creators and those I care about.

And this got me to realize how it’s made me feel regarding BC. I only post on those days because it’s the only way for the show get any attention. Any other day and it would be buried under my profile and promptly forgotten due to my lack of reach as a small creator.
