We were thrilled to see the new #solar array at North Ferriby primary school today, which we had a hand in instigating.
The savings on the electricity bills to run the school will directly benefit current and future pupils.

Even more rewarding is the enthusiasm of the staff.

Well done #ERYC

We are more than getting there with #renewable energy.

So, perhaps, Jeff Teper @microsoft.com can persuade their Office Apps team to reintroduce the ability to add metadata to documents from with Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

We used to have it. They took it away. We want it back.

It's not too much to ask.

Autofill for filling those columns with appropriate metadata signals a turning point for Microsoft.
#Information Architecture and content management has ALWAYS required metadata. It's often not possible to infer it from the content. Content creator ls and manager ls have vital knowledge to add.

In September, @Microsoft rolled out #SharePoint metadata understanding to #Copilot agents.
We have been demanding this for 2 years; it's huge that our pleasure have been listened to.
Hopefully this & the ability of SharePoint #KnowledgeAgent to intelligently create metadata columns, combined with

"But the electricity for your EV produces CO2"
Nope
Carbon are as much a choice as a fact of modern life.
Choose your planet.

Thank you @octopus.energy

EVs aren't more expensive than ICE cars.

They are rapidly becoming a little cheaper to buy, cheaper to run, cheaper to own.

"Cheaper, better, battery electric"

Here's a great #M365 #Copilot tip, courtesy of @rharbridge.bsky.social

#Teams meetings transcripts will often get words & names wrong if they are 'unusual'. Fix that by adding to the Copilot Custom Dictionary...
Go to M365 Admin Center | Copilot | Settings | Other Settings

Learn the taxonomy & how to take basic prompts and craft them into truly effective prompts to unlock the full potential of the most powerful AI tools.

Through demonstrations and best practices, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence to make #M365 #Copilot (and other AIs) dance to your tune

100+ countries have fossil-fuel imports, saving >$1.3 trillion by #renewable investments.

UK, Germany & Chile have reduced imported coal & gas by a third since 2010, mainly by building wind and solar power.

That was my reaction.
It's a long way off the promise of a smaller cheaper Tesla
Looking at the MG IM5 instead.

I'm delighted that @microsoft.com have fixed another little irritation in #Teams

The Stop Sharing button isn't quite so temptingly close to the Leave meeting button.
It still has a red 'in use' icon but that goes orange when you mouse over it and there's a useful gap.
Much. Better.

At our Collabdays Bletchley session @matswarnolf.bsky.social & I shared a fun little Information Architect survey, “Are you a dishwasher Fascist?”

If you want to check what kind of an Information Architect you might be you can now take the survey too.

September #UK car sales

Pure #EV & plug in hybrids up, again.
Petrol static again.
Diesel plummets, again.

Overall sales up, driven by EVs.

Pure battery electric cars are within 1% of pure petrol vehicles, and in track for overtaking petrol this year.

The warm up to #CollabdaysBletchley has begun.
Mats Warnolf & I will be discussing Content Types in #SharePoint.
In this AI age effective #InformationArchitecture & #governance are vital. Ignore Content types at your peril.

Perhaps it should be a feature of all new EVs. Or at least the weirder ones 😉

While updating the #BusinessProcess & #Search articles I was struck by the depth, rate & type of change #technology imposes on organisations, and how regular updates to their competencies is vital.

Join this #PnP session with the #MaturityModel team to understand where you should focus.

The UK media, while an order of magnitude better than Fox News, is still far from a paragon of professional publishing.

The #solar panels delivered by a single container ship will generate as much power over their lifetimes as more than 50 ships carrying liquefied natural gas (LNG) or 100 carrying coal, according to recent IEA analysis.

So I did some analysis
