4. The flesh is quite mushy but the hard caramel coating crunchy. The one I got in Suzhou(Gusu) had additional sesame seeds sprinkled on it for extra crunch
5. It's delicious! I can see why Xue Yang likes it 👌
6. At the imperial banquet we were served tanghulu made with grape and cherry tomato(!)
