React frontend developer and various tooling nerd.
Watch the "Appearance" settings title while I flip between light and dark mode. I love the seamless transition, and how it blends into the UI.

It… like, really blends.

Who designed this? Why are there two identical columns of coffees?

This is what you want to see when you click "Unsubscribe" on an email you didn't subscribe to.

Anyone knows what to do now? Back to ESLint?

Oh honey, no, I don't care about the look, I just need better features.

Thanks, I hate it.

It's invisible — I was looking for it so that I could close it, it took me a while.

The transcript below is ChatGPT trying to answer my prompt via voice conversation using my speakers as output.

But ChatGPT keeps interrupting itself because it hears its own output, thinking that I said something. Pieces of output becoming its input, which is a long-standing bug.

Is mine sorted by usage? What specifically are you getting?

Regarding Prettier, yeah, I do JSDoc:

/** @type {import('prettier').Config} */
export default {
...
}

But yeah, it would be nice if JSON already worked.

As for tsconfig.json, maybe I misunderstood, but that one already works for me.

Ok, @github.com can you do something about this now?

YouTube hasn't quite mastered layout shifts yet…

…but maybe they didn't get around to it yet, they're a new platform after all.

Why did a content creator ask me to like and subscribe BEFORE diving into the topic of her video? How am I supposed to know what I'm liking?

YouTube, fix your platform so that people don't have to do this "please like and subscribe" thing anymore, I'm sure everyone will be relieved.

Chrome Dev Tools upgraded to straight up underlining problematic elements. I like it, points to Google ⭐️

Many people never open the Issues panel, this is much better integrated.

Oh the anticipation of seeing whether Reddit downvotes will surpass my upvotes.

How did we get from a code completion tool to this?

Why would I ever use this?

I guess I had to do a video version too.

PSA about pronouncing names of autocrats.

I prefer to use inference over specifying return types, but I haven't pulled my question out from thin air, the API reference lead me to believe that it could be helpful.

Although this mentions "other tools", so I guess not TypeScript compiler itself.

I hate this clickbait tactic the most.

This makes it sound like the videos have been posted by someone else, and it works! But after the curtains fall ends up sounding really narcissistic, just look at it 😄

Just tell me what your thing is. If you trick me, I won't come back for more.

I fucking hate these creepy-ass YouTube ads about procrastination illustrated by stop motion play-doh and the worst song ever.

These iOS Journal widget questions are a killer feature. Often get me writing or at least self-reflect.
