I didn't play the HD2D remake of it yet, but having played the previous remakes and the NES version, I can say there's absolutely much more in DQ2 than the first one and especially given these remakes added even more to it.

While everything around retches and gags, a toony Sil scampers on by with his own strong stink lines wafting from him, sniffing in your stinklines and happily sighing with a dazed look while the air around us gets more inundated with much more wavy stink lines
