In cases where "deep fake" uses the image or likeness of a person without a release granting consent, they can be sued in civil courts. The problem is proving who originated or created the content. With AI, deep fakes will greatly be on the rise and proving who is responsible gets more difficult.

The author of the article was a friend of mine from high school. He was always a nice rational person, and I remember him as having a great sense of humor as well.

I've never forgotten anything like that, but I do go to the airport about 2 hours before my flight, just in case there are problems. I being (audio) books loaded on my phone and just read (listen) & drink coffee waiting for my plane to board. Good job getting the laptop to him though.

I find this totally appropriate, as the MAGA culture is lead by "Christian-Fascists"...
