For more than a week, demonstrations have been taking place in Galkayo city by women demanding justice for Sabiriin Saylaan, who was killed on the 12th of this month, whose body has not yet been buried. The Galkayo District Court of First Instance began hearing the Sabiriin case today, and two defendants, Hodan Mahmoud Diiriye and her husband Abdiaziz Nur Xashi, who are being held for murder, were brought before the court. The case of the late Sabiriin Saylaan will be heard again on Monday, the 24th of this month, as scheduled by the Galkayo District Court of First Instance.
