i swear i'm going to spend the entire playthrough dreading the day i accidentally waste a coupon on some cheap basic supply or other instead of saving it for The Good Shit later

It's not like, a surprise because I'd read up on classes a bit but I really love that one of the class options is just "royalty." The heir, the spare, and every extra kid gets shipped off to a labyrinth to either make their own fortune or simplify the succession when an angry deer eats them.

I'm not sure what went wrong where here that didn't flag the kids as sibling and give them those supports, but I approve and hope it never gets fixed.

Took a few minutes for my dumb sleep-deprived brain to find the actual right spot in Azahar after the first spot I removed them from did nothing, but yanking those two files out did indeed do the trick! Many thanks for diving in there and figuring it out!

But eh I'm awake and posting anyway so. Been playing Awakening the past few days with the gay hack and a Morgan swap installed and apparently missed on my test run months ago that the latter's layers of other things include this texture change and every time I notice it again I sigh.

Okay so I've never really tried out the Souls games and the -likes that followed them, so I'm not very versed in the genre discourse there, but "a Dark Souls game/Soulslike is a kind of mushroom" is a new take for me.

I know realistically they just fucked up the reference here but series backstory being what it is I like to think a bunch of wires got crossed over the millennia and Lagaardian ancient mythology buffs have ended up recording Surtr as a legendary ancient King of Jerusalem.

Main game finished, and since I managed to do everything in the first game except 100% compendium, my final thoughts'll wait until I hit that point here too probably but.

I kinda wish this pre-final boss speech was one of the bits that acknowledged you using a password. I wanna see how the Overlord would react to his speech being cut off with "yeah, yeah, age of science, global warming, seven trees, we heard all this from Visil (and then killed the hell out of him)."
