Damn Metroid Prime 4 looks way too good...
Not anything new but NG4's composer sums up why I kinda just look at TGAs as just a place get cool trailers *it barely does that right*It's not an even that actually appreciates games. I know most awards shows are like that and I stopped watching those too...

Though I do like Nomura’s commentary about action games needing “spice” in their movement rather than limp smoothness. Probably explains why the VS13 clones never looks as cool as the real thing

I was trying to see if there was some overlap between how Sakurai and Nomura designs games since both of there stuff approach things with fun in mind. Most I found was this Smash 4 interview that talks about both’s philosophies. One just wants a good time and the other goes all in *explains a lot*

I’m also looking at concept art for the sequel and while Kachi’s jacket design is fine I almost wish she kept her lolita look. I guess it would’ve probably clashed with the rest of the game though.

I did learn that there was a prequel light novel that had a few cool illustrations tucked away. Makes me wish there was a manga too…

Yorha Yuffie looks cool as hell. Especially compared to Tifa, who is just wearing 2B’s outfit. tbh it should have been something based on her Advent Children design.

so idk if it counts but I can’t ignore FFT especially with today’s climate. With the remaster this is like my fourth time playing it and yet the story and gameplay never feels old.
It also was a game I used to dislike back in the day until I downloaded it on my hacked my PSP out of boredom.

Oh I’m tripping I also beat the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster. Unsurprisingly it still holds up and the game’s narrative hits extra hard nowadays.
I think I still prefer the PSP voice actors but the new guys aren’t that bad minus those redubs in the animated cutscenes

I also binged all three seasons of Vox Machina and yeah that’s a pretty good show. I probably won’t ever play dnd myself but stuff like this, BG3 and even Dungeon Meshi *if it counts* make me respect the stories and characters at least.

Dispatch actually stuck the landing. I had my doubts at first but that was a pretty solid game. Probably on par with the first seasons of Tales from the Borderlands and TWD. Man what an overall great year for releases.

Goddamn Predator Badlands was a good ass movie. That was like a shonen, graphic novel and video game wrapped up into one film.
