The idea that Putin will choose business opportunities with the Trump family over his idée fixe of ruling the world and leaving a legacy is for the birds. He made his choice in 2007 and loudly reiterated his intentions in 2008, 2014, 2015 and 2022

While people in the UK are losing their minds before the budget, Putin increased VAT by 10% (2 pp) without asking anyone cause he needs money to continue the Russian war on Ukraine and no one minds.
