When EVs didn't continue their growth they were so quick to say "EV fad is dead" when they don't understand 1) the number doesn't always go up and 2) Cars are not really a thing a population replaces linearly or overnight.

I'm convinced the 80 dollar price might bring with it "life long free" DLC support.
So by the end of the generation, the $80 price seems cheap when there is two more continents and a Battle-Royale mode. Fortnite in gokarts is coming. Mark my words.

Basically that game is WAY more fun if you play it to "look" for the domino run solutions instead of smashing challenges with the Most Efficient Tactic Available. You get to be part of the artists vision but not FORCED to be.

Just speaking as a casual game dev, I can't help but dwell on the smile on the dev's face as they set this up.
