Yesterday I helped look after this wee egg - meet 9-week old Ginty. She came over to Winston’s house for the afternoon and spent most of the time sleeping 🥹🥹

An interlude to my annual leave (bad diary management on my part 🫣) spending a lovely afternoon in sunny Govan chatting to a bunch of primary 5s about health and human right for @intouniversity.bsky.social 🥰 I love doing these sessions so much!

Today I celebrated a 40th work anniversary for a lovely colleague, and then met this wee dude, right at the start of his work life ✌️

Another day on study leave, another trip to a cooncil library - Couper Institute this afternoon

My study leave library tours around Glasgow continued last week with the OG, The Mitchell, with its wonderful carpets.

Been spending a lot of my study leave working from the local library - but it’s due to close for refurb at the end of next month 😭 back on my trail of local libraries soon…

We had our #UofGMPH2425 induction yesterday! It's always super energising being around our new students. A wee snippet of the 80+ students in this year's cohort attached...We've got students from all over the world, and from all different disciplines (engineering might be a first!)

I migrated over here last year with great ambitions of being ✨engaged✨ but treated it like a lot of my hobbies and gave up before I started. Anyway, breaking the blank wall with absolutely nothing insightful, but a picture of my new tattoo. He needs a name, suggestions welcome ✌️🐌🌸
