Overall I enjoyed it but I know I’ll never play it again and it didn’t really make me a Donkey Kong fan so I know I’ll be okay if I never play a DJ game again as I gave it a good college try on a game that I feel should have put its best foot forward.

Overall like a 7.8 out of 10 (too much bananas)

-Fractones felt like contrivances most of the time
-Felt a little long towards the end
-Felt like the level design got weaker as the game went on
-Frame rate dropped MASSIVELY in end game levels even docked which feels unacceptable for a $70 game on a new console
-Some level gimmicks were glitchy

So I drove over, and was given another plate of Thanksgiving food that I ate and didn’t stress about because I was 19/20 at the time and didn’t know how good I had it.

And that’s the story of how I ate three Thanksgiving meals at three different households in the same day, each better than before.

Before I had the thought I would head home and got a text from a different friend asking what I was up to. She and her mom and a couple of our friends they’d taken in were having Thanksgiving, but there was too much food just for the four of them and they needed help putting it away.

She ended up needing a ride from where we worked to go home because the roads were bad, so I drove and picked her up and drove her home. When we got there she invited me in, and as payment her family offered me a plate of their Thanksgiving dinner. I spent a couple hours there, catching up

One year, my parents hosted Thanksgiving lunch and I kind of just picked at my plate. My mother had outdone herself with the driest turkey I’d ever eaten that I soaked in gravy to help slide down my gullet. I left my parents and got a text from an old roommate who asked what I was up to.

Super Mario Wonder was the best drug-infused acid trip of a Mario game my husband and I rushed through one weekend last year. It was a blast to play.

I’ve never actually played Fates because I heard so many horror stories about the story itself 😂 but maybe someday I’ll do a playthrough of it just to see.

I find it funny that they nailed the storytelling of two conflicting sides with Radiant Dawn and then its largely a strugglebus w/ Conquest/Birthright and depending on some people's opinions Three Houses.

LOVE Radiant Dawn and would kill for a remastered version. I think the game's pacing is excellent, does a great job of setting up the Daein resistance's characters *then* putting you back with the Greil Mercenaries so you feel the conflict. Really great story, lore, amazing characters.

I'm about the same--love a good Thanksgiving ham, and turkey is good when prepared correctly. The problem I had was I grew up in a white household that did not know how to prepare a turkey and so it was always dried out.
