Head dancers Christina Restoule and Miskwaa Animkii Bnesii led a round dance, where all visitors to the Three Fires Homecoming Powwow on Credit First Nations were invited to participate, eventually looping around itself in the large dance area on Sunday.

Quite a day at the big Breakfast on the Farm event in Simcoe today, including for siblings Ben Kekas, 3, and his sister, Hannah Kekas, 5, who easily nestled in the hub of the giant Michelin tire on a huge harvest combine worth $1.3 million.

It's been quite a week for Brant County with the opening of the Special Olympics and showing Lt.-Gov. Edith Dumont around the area. Today the LG charmed a large luncheon at the Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead.

Huge day in Tillsonburg where upwards of 40,000 people showed up for Turtlefest! One of the longest lineups was to get into the giant inflated turtle in the centre of the entirely blocked off downtown.

Brantford's Pride in the Park event Saturday was an extra large love-in with hundreds turning out for food, games, a drag show and "mom hugs" from moms who offer love and acceptance to all.

GEPH's Brantford-Brant area reports 4 active outbreaks =24 people. One each of influenza, enteric, COVID & coronavirus at 2 LTC homes, 1 retirement home & a daycare. ER visits last week =169 for respiratory issues. Hospital beds: 8 flu, 2 COVID, 1 other respiratory.
