hey bluesky, in case anyone's interested, I wrote this for my students about why I don't want them to use anything AI in my classes. It interrupts the course calendar part of the syllabus, coming immediately after the first day there's a writing assignment assigned.

The opioid crisis has taken thousands of lives and devastated families across BC and Canada.

given the number of people who post "what do you mean by this" "are you serious" "what is this in reference to" in replies to obvious jokes it seems to me bluesky is actually a lot less siloed than twitter was
