I spent the evening at American Legion Post 1700 serving dinner to veterans and their families. It was meaningful to work alongside the Post’s members and volunteers who consistently show up for our community.

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) helps low-income people pay the cost of heating their homes. HEAP Applications will be available today online at mybenefits.ny.gov and also in person at county DSS and HRA offices.

My office attended Clear Path for Veterans’ annual Southern Tier Thanksgiving Meal at American Legion Post 1645, where our constituent team provided on-site information and resources to the veteran community.

I had the pleasure of joining students and community leaders for “A Brighter Bing: Illuminating Our City Through Reuse,” organized by Cornell University. These researchers brought fresh ideas on how Binghamton can reuse materials, rethink spaces, and build a more sustainable future.

I am proud to have secured $68,000 in state funding for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County. CCE has long been a trusted resource for families, youth, and community members across our region, and this investment will help ensure that their facilities remain safe and welcoming for all.
