L: Triple Burst Citra IPA, currently looking to be around 9%. An expensive brew, given the abundant use of (costly) Citra hops. 16 litres.

R: “Frankenbrew”, made from odds & ends, but shaping up to be a brown ale. Should be around 4.5%. 20 litres.

#TBT last week, when I was lucky enough to enter Early Carboniferous (330-354 Ma) limestone during a visit Ecton Mine, Staffordshire, UK 🌍

This predominantly copper mine has been mined since the Bronze Age! 😮

The results of this recent YouGov poll is doing the rounds (and seemingly being warmly received) on LinkedIn.

Fair enough; if the numbers were the other way around, I’d be pretty fearful for the future. But surely these remain worrying?
Boys aged 13-17 are, overall, far more decent, empathetic and fair-minded than many older men. Some standout findings: (. 81% of teenage boys have a positive view of women. Only 1% have a negative view. Only 7% have a positive view of Andrew Tate - 63% view him negatively (with 49% very unfavourably). 85% see aggression as a negative trait. (. 96% see kindness as a positive trait. 66% see feminism as a movement for equality, not for "bringing men down." $ 77% think it's wrong for a man to expect sex after paying for a date. (80% believe women should be free to dress however they wish.
