I REALLY wanted one in elementary school. I still find them charming, but I'll stick with dogs + cats (livestock if more money comes my way). Plus, the dogs would probably kill a ferret...

Also: more than one dog??? I'd sleep with 6 dogs and 2 cats on prednisone before more than 1 ferret. But maybe that's just me

She'd barely give more than a yes or no answer until alcohol was involved, then tell her life story + interesting sidebars. Less of a "how odd is this" and more of a "0 to 60" situation.
...though she did also state that they bit her regularly & they still slept in the bed #frightclub
