Other interesting wildlife sightings:

- a snake going for a lil swim
- a loon drowning and eating a duckling
- an osprey plunging into a lake
- eagle mating death spiral

I did but he still wanted to go back in after like a minute. A delicate baby

I’ve also seen a tarantula, bison and feral donkeys but I tried to keep it to animals I’ve seen in places I’ve lived

It was a big red flag and she was fired like 2 months later for being absolutely terrible (she was also like 50 and I was 26 and I don’t think she cared for that dynamic, so she pretty much just ignored all of my training and every day was a torrent of bozo level mistakes)

And I was like buddy that’s your job title so I guess you’re just going to have to figure this one out

When I worked in newspapers I was training a newly hired paginator and she tried to tell me paginator wasn’t a word because it wasn’t in the MS Word dictionary and as an editor I ought to know that

“if I impregnate a lady she will feel beholden to do mommy things for me too and make me food and do my laundry and clean my house because she feels like her kid needs a stable home and a father figure and this will make me a big man” go away
