i've literally only read The Long Walk by him and the one (1) time they introduced a black character, he was killed off very early and characters were UNNECESSARILY racist as hell towards him.
i kept saying it's a product of it's time but i didn't realise it was notable in his other work too 💀

but for HAZBIN to not only is it getting original japanese merch, but it's getting the POPULAR anime merch treatment.

it is a little surprising in some aspects !!
because even for obscure anime, merch is made and they always represent all kinds of characters, even unpopular ones. but it's the same kind of merch (acrylics, buttons, clear files) and only popular anime get the unique stuff.

i've been in this fandom for over 5 years now. i will sometimes stray from it when there's no updates and revisit sonic or BL or something but i will always come back to the hellaverse that's just a fact.

with the amount of pins they make AND sell, unless they have a terrible manu, i feel like they'd get such a mass production discount from their manufacturers that the additional fee of screenprinting wouldn't be the biggest difference in the world tbqh.

it's like they heard fans wanted screenprint and decided to give it to us, but in the worst way possible to avoid the price hike.
