it's definitely a cool phenomenon though, but I don't get the focus on "canon" and "not canon". I thought "every Miku is canon" was something said by Miku's parent company and that's why people repeated it? but "you can dress up however you like" ≠ "every outfit is canonically worn by Nikki" imo

yeah, I've been trying to understand the reasoning for both Miku and Nikki to get this treatment- Miku because you can make her say whatever you like, Nikki because you can make her wear whatever you like. I just don't understand why remarks about her model are brought up when talking about her lore

also, I understand drawing a distinction between Nikki the character, who has a big sister, who can't swim, who followed a treasure map around the world... or Nikki the model/gameplay element/mascot. it's fine to tlak about the latter, but what does it have to do with "canon"?

the idea that the game would allow you to dress up in a way that isn't canon feels like a concept people struggle with even though it is pretty baked into the lore of LN - you, the player, can get lots of clothes that Nikki can never canonically own, and dress her up in them (like white blossom)

I wouldn't consider this misinfo or insane, but I find sentiments like "every Nikki is canon" interesting bc it's a very IN-influenced way of viewing Nikki. I feel like it's a nice thought but the way people use it makes no sense (e.g "Nikki is not necessarily Chinese because every Nikki is canon")

the food is genuinely bad, it's both loud and cold, I hate it there

see we did figure that part about the outlines out but it hasn't stopped one of us (ahem) from accidentally misclicking every once in a while (we usually just reset from last save bc that's not what our characters would do)

playing it with my irl friend on his ps5, couch co op mode, so forgive the lack of screenshots but here she is! she's a rogue/assassin. (I think I'm too fire emblem myrmidon pilled bc I love the gameplay of mia and yuri) but yeah I'm hooked already
