Controversial as this may be, the Triple Lock on pensions needs to go.

It is costing an enormous sum of money which will only increase as the population continues to age.

The working age population of the UK is really struggling yet pensioners, irrespective of wealth, are protected.

Rachel Reeves says this Labour Governments decisions are "necessary."

Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%?

When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?

The gaslighting from Labour politicians is off the scale following the Budget.

Apparently all of these measures are helping the cost of living crisis. How?

Nobodies costs are reducing. This Budget is tinkering around the edges to appease Labour backbenchers not genuinely help anyone.

When the time comes that people have to at least act as if they care about trans people, do not forget and do not forgive a single person associated with this who isn’t speaking out about it now.

Don’t let them say it was a different time. Don’t let them say they didn’t know. We know.

It shows clear intent that they believe anti-trans campaigning should be rewarded and celebrated.

We will not stand for this. As such, we will not work with The Herald or Scottish Power. Any requests for their attendance at Stirling Pride events will be refused including participation in marches.

Looks like I'll have to add two grand to my pre-election poll crowdfunder because I certainly won't be working with this rag again. Absolutely disgraceful, awarding a hate campaign that is out to destroy my community and kill my best friend like this. Shame on you.

Absolutely disgraceful decision from the Herald.

Do their sponsors agree with bigotry and hate being rewarded in this manner?

For Shabana Mahmood to attack some of the most cruelly treated people in the world as having won a "golden ticket" because they manage to get to and claim asylum in Britain is unforgiveable.

A new, far right, low for which I can think of no precedent, by any UK Government.

Didn’t vote Labour, didn’t trust them. But I still thought they would be better than the Tories. I could never have imagined them being this much worse.

Labour's proposals on changes to the asylum system are deeply disturbing. Mahmood says this isnt about pandering to the far right but if that were true I doubt they would be taking inspiration from the cruel Danish system.

It is a very good thing Tom Harris is no longer an MP. What a foul attitude to take to young people taking an interest in politics and the House of Commons making space to accommodate them, as any serious democracy should. "This lot"? A sublime encapsulation of the bitter ageism blighting politics.
The hatred the youth parliament gets is just so out of proportion. Can these people hear themselves. It’s creepy.

This speech from Rachel Reeves is kind of frustrating because it shows that the Government can command the airwaves when it wants

That's something it has almost totally failed to do so far - over challenging racism, boosting the laws it has passed, tackling Reform, rebutting Tory ILR plans, etc etc

Andrew being stripped of his Princehood, has taken far too long.

Be in no doubt, this is a decision based on preservation of the monarchy. The media are determined to spin this as a moral decision by the King. If this had been the case it would have happened over a decade ago.

I’m back to tell you 3 things about ID cards:

1. Migrants ALREADY HAVE biometric ID cards & govts have been trying to digitise them for years w repeated fuckups & failures causing complete chaos - they don’t work, you do not want that system for you.

Starmer should not be meeting with Herzog in London. He should instead be seeking his arrest for his part in the genocide in Gaza.
