My house was Switzerland in the console wars, with both a Genesis and a SNES. Each had a lot of really strong titles. We did good in buying and rentals.

Imagining a word where Samurai Swords (Shogun, Ikusa) had the enduring popularity of Axis & Allies. A revised edition with new units. Samurai Swords East and Samurai Swords West, that could be combined into a larger game. A miniatures line. Games on individual battles like Sekigahara.

My introduction to White Rabbit invovled a team-up of Spider-Man and Frog-Man. So lot of affection for the character, even as I remember this when she's working as an enforcer/middle manager for Tombstone these days.

Sears toy ad from 1986. Running numbers through an inflation catalog, I see why we got some of the scientists and little monsters from the Inhumanoids line, but never any of the big monsters (and I've got to figure that price point killed the line).

What's the cover art that got you started in the TTRPG hobby? I'm a 2 nd generation gamer and was reading my dad's books as long as I could read. Though Fantasy Forest was my first fantasy game played, once using my dad's D&D minis as pawns.
