Low pressure and associated moisture are moving in from the west. Temperatures suggest a mix of rain and snow through tonight with snow and 1-3" amounts favored northwest of Cincinnati and more rain with 1" or less for most of the Tri-State.

The highest accumulations with the weekend winter weather event will be north and northwest of #Cincinnati. That's where 1-3" of snow accumulation is forecast. Elsewhere, up to 1" is expected.

Friday and Monday are good days to get your raking done. The wind is sustained between 5 and 15mph through Tuesday. We will deal with scattered snow showers on Saturday, snow showers early Sunday, and scattered snow showers Tuesday. Wind chills are in the teens and 20s all day tomorrow.

As of 3pm, the temperature in Cincinnati is 39°. That's 18° below where it was 24 hours ago...but we'll be lucky to see 39° between Thanksgiving day and Wednesday! Reports of flurries are increasing to the west, so I'll add those into the evening forecast with this update.

Many have seen wind gusts of 40+ mph so far today, and gusts up to 50mph are a concern through this evening. Despite some reports of flurries in the northern Tri-State in the last hour, the likelihood of flurries is low this afternoon. I'll keep us cloudy through this evening based on trends.
