Saw it as well. I notice it alot with RG. He seems to take a very light hearted approach to his rugby and i think its infectious for others around him. And in this instance i think JOB was talking to RG?
No massive issue with it if it helps players relax. But time and a place for it as well

Jordie had the extra buzz of being the first one off the plane for this kind of deal.
Also think there is a general shiftiness amongst leinster fans this season as its not quite clear yet how, in general, we are gonna go. Given our less than ideal start to the season

I actually like the team for many reasons. More game time for newbies. Good rotation etc. Except for the fact that we have three 12s picked in the 23 and i think that’s gonna limit our attack and options alot

I dunno. That first half lacked desire, or maybe urgency, from everyone.
Anyway. The harry byrne show is much more fun to watch.
I am so curious as to where HB is gonna be in the pecking order if he keeps performing every time he plays. So hope he stays injury free

I would argue (with the ‘its only spain’ cabeat) that the ire A lads are showing more desire then some of the ire fringe fellas that got a chance against japan today. I know it’s not the same but also 😜

I actually thought that Big Mc grabbed his chance pretty well. Go again with him against Oz I think.
Really need to see more young centres come thru. This year too soon for Cooney but he is showing some nice form at 13 so far

But in reality, who else is Aki replacing? He’s and out and out 12. So is Stu. Which is why Aki on the bench made little sense to me. Someone like JOB covers more positions and allows others to move around too. But i am still grumpy about the outcome today tbh 😖

It feels ‘off’ though that so many of those players have played less than 80 minutes of rugby this season. Not disagreeing with the selection and have no alternative suggestions but so little rugby has been recorded by almost half that team 🤯
