If Russia can pull off the subjugation of Ukraine, which it is most likely to do sooner or later, that forms a very real basis.

Russia's crushing of the Chechens already showed it is down but not out.

Belgium, the failed state too rich to acknowledge.

Heh, wonder if they'll be able to block the news when the day of reckoning comes...

A sad day for Ukraine, but at least they didn't go down without a fight.

Ukrainians aside, it's you emotionalists who will suffer most from this, I simply tried to warn you.

Guess these people had the last laugh...

Yes, the common idea people have of dictatorships is impossible.

Again, who said I trusted them blindly? I trust them knowingly; he has no horse in this race.

Absurd?! Not at all.

Directly, no, fog of war after all, but through the ecologist's technique of "Mark-Recapture," an estimate can be made that suggests such.

Military-aged population size.

We won't know until the end of the war what effect drones had, but it's unlikely to significantly change the equation.

It is unlikely to take decades & more likely it (The collapse of the frontline, anyway) will happen anywhere from now to February of 2027.

It's justifiable to dehumanize the Russians.

But surely they must cohere *somewhat* to have lasted this long!

Money alone cannot bring coherence.

Hence why it is likely Ukraine will lose, like the Confederacy, as long as the Russians are willing to fight as much and as long as necessary.

With 100% accuracy & unlimited depth, no, but meteorologists are pretty good at the five-day forecast.

Seismologists can tell when an earthquake is coming, even if there is little precision on when.

Peter never claims 100% precise foreknowledge.

But would Russia ever accept such a deal when Ukraine & the Western order are in a terrible position, unable to back up their demands with force?

Or are you seriously expecting the Russians to abide by such principles out of the goodness of their hearts?

I'd be wary of potentially starting wars Europe isn't prepared to win, lest it start looking like this...
November 25, 2025 at 3:56 AM
(Of course, feelings are important, in that as long as the Russians feel the need to fight as much & as long as necessary, Ukraine can't hope to win.

This is not solely because of feeling, but because of their numerical advantages, which Ukraine, for the most vital mobilizable population, lacks)

The US Civil War was an example, not a source of data.

The reason Ukraine loses is simple: a great disparity in the military capacities of the adversaries.

It matters not if you're a fool who believes that feelings are likely to beat cold hard math.

The way of the world.

Maybe one day this will be conducted more peacefully, as stated above, both a common enemy & common gain increase asabiya & industry allows non-militaristic common gain, a potential sportman-like order.

But global cooperation requires global identity, not there yet.

In this world, if you're not a power, you're a vassal. Usually strength of nation determines who is a power and who is a vassal, for the first time in history, strong imperial nations willingly turned themselves into vassals...

Primarily American client states.

Hence, Ukraine needs to stop, accept Trump's peace deal, unless it wants this kind of treatment...

It's horrible deal, but Ukraine is in a horrible position.

And we are partly the ones who put them there by half-assing our support & weakening ourselves/the Western alliance with Neoliberalism.

It is, in the sense that it shows you're wrong.

Having more shells does not inherently make them less lethal, but an abundance of shells can lead to tactics that decrease the average lethality per shell in a conflict.

However, what's important here is having enough weapons to sustain operations.
