unnatural ass dialogue

one of my biggest pet peeves is when characters reveal shit they absolutely have no good reason to spill and there is a lot of this going on in here lol

one of the biggest problems is that this dialogue is way too fucking forward and there's too much of it. slow down, shut up, you wouldn't say all that and especially not in that manner

i legit kind of want to redo it. and like, if i do redo it— i would still leave the original up, because i dont believe in deleting work like that— but the new one would be structured differently. im envisioning more frequent, but less sophisticated, artwork instead of those full color lined pieces

i feel like its rare for me to look back on my old work and be like "the art is fine but the writing is atrocious" and well thats whats happening here. the art could be better obviously and i even had problems with it at the time of drawing it but like. good fucking god lol
