People don't realize how DE is prone to delays.

"Get rid of the alts" they say "Im tired of smurfs" they say, but when someone has the balls to take action and put rules into place to meet everyone's needs? Oh that person should explode

What's absolutely insane is that people didn't follow that rule because they didn't understand the point of it- but that rule was put into place because I had caught a team using it to smuggle an SSC banned player into that particular weekly less than a month i prior to that incident.

Easy rules to follow get flamed, TOs quit/retire, and those who remain decide the fight isn't worth it anymore and we all lose.

Oh also, when this happened in that certain weekly, we lost 1/3rd of our staff! Love that

Yup! I was the victim of that one! Despite neither playing nor staffing that night :)

It would never be enforced because people would cry about rulebooking, attack their opponents on twitter, and then blame the TOs.

Well I became more aware of when my eyes were dry, just because I knew it was an issue. So I would close my eyes between games, or if I have a longer respawn. Also eye drops help but im lazy.
Make sure you're in a well lit room too. I also lower my saturation but we've talked about that on lan

I thought my vision was getting worse but the optometrist straight up said I have the worlds mildest astigmatism and just dont blink enough. Bro was right.

People have unrealistic expectations, you do your best. You didn't set out to reinvent the wheel with new tiers, divisions, or ranks.

I don't regret anything, I'm not hurt. But it really is eye opening. It wasn't just staffing, it's commentary, team scheduling, or for a large chunk of this year- stress.

Retirement has been great :)
