Day jobs... sigh! Journalism is one of the few places it's almost expected you're a bit non-standard, for want of a better phrase - it's full of people who couldn't function in a "normal" 9-5 office but who are frequently very good at what they do so foibles are ignored.

Perhaps also helpful when dealing with other people to be able to say "I have this, it means I need x". Labels can be useful in some places. Glad it is helping you 💕

I agreed to one before I got offered the others, but hadn't realised how close two of them would be - and both had more books than usual! Hopefully next year if I get the offer I can prepare a little better...

I'd like to see the govt say clearly the minimum wage is going to go up until people don't need a universal credit or tax credits top-up - ie, it'll go up till it's at a liveable level. I'm not holding my breath, but at least they've put it up and have said they want to erase the age gap.
