These lines were printed after deliberate attempts by the newspaper to conflate and confuse readers, talking about cyclists and e-bikes when actually describing and showing pictures of electric and other motorcycles.

The Edinburgh Evening News printed these lines on a story about antisocial bike use.
‘police were allowed to run them off the road. Better still if other road users were allowed to do it’
I don’t think this is acceptable. The normalising, publishing, promoting of illegal acts towards a group.

Some things haven’t changed in my lifetime. When the Major recession hit hard in 92 most of my friends were scattered far and wide. Work was not a thing that the NW had.

Cut and paste response to both of us. I made a further complaint that I was not satisfied with this response. I said that their response that the report was ‘accurate’ was untrue. The pram did not crash.

Thanks #SGN the pavement really was too wide compared to the road. There was only about 6m of road works that the sign could have gone into.
