Many of us would much prefer more renewables and more storage. Online quicker than nukes, cheaper and safer.

For one thing much attention is being paid to the small number of salmon potentially being saved
Whereas what the system is really for is to stop the deaths of fish that seabirds eat, so depriving them of food - twaite, shad & herring

The government have a new way of making Nuclear attractive enough to get built - we pay them for a decade or more before they even produce any electricity. Nuclear is such a bargain..:)

Nuclear did 8%. Just saying. In maybe 15 years time we’ll have Sizewell C chipping in - and by the way, we all started paying for that through our energy bills this month.
