Didn't expect to get gastro, didn't expect it to land me an overnight stay in a regional Australian hospital...

But holy shit. This is leagues above any experience I've had in NZ. Seen in an hour. Hot meal that was honestly very good. Salt even offered! The loveliest nurses, I cannot fault.

Despite the aggressive wind and rain, we had a fantastic time! Great convos about what makes a good submission, some of the nuance in the things coming to Council at the moment, and how some new elected members might find themselves between a rock and a hard place 🤭✨
