I don’t recall if gnocchi is safe for you or not, but if it is: butter panfried gnocchi with hot honey (or just honey & pepper flakes) & thems are good. Squeeze lemon in towards end of gnocchi fry. Also works nice with broccoli. Throw in sliced up sausage of choice for protein.

The products my hairdresser uses (mostly aveda*) make my cats nutty. Current 3 aren’t too violent, but with Loki, I had to wash it before bed. He just got too kneady & bunny-kicky& chewy.

The friend/neighbor kid who often catsat for me sent me every picture they had of my cat after he died. And I felt bad for having to tell them their favorite died. Totally special episode shit.

One advantage of the long nails is I’m even MORE careful about mincing. Somehow needing to fix fakes if I slice them is more of a deterrent than pain?

This. Ask me to go over & make sure you turned the oven off, rescue your dog off the porch roof, put that package inside, let in the contractors. It gives me comfort that we’re together for this AND the fun stuff. And I like helping.

I also roasted brussels! Olive oil, fresh garlic, fresh ground pepper, salt, a touch of hot honey. Then drizzled after with a thick, rich balsamic. Very few leftovers from 1.5 lbs for 4 ppl, so I think they liked them.
