There are 13 years between those two musicals' debuts, and 22 years between Wicked and the present. I'm not a big Wicked fan (the second act is a mess), but I have a distinct suspicion you may not have much particular expertise on "modern" musicals.

In Fall 2005, I made a PowerPoint presentation for a class using images I found on Wikipedia, and I got an A+. In Fall 2025, my teenage son made a PowerPoint for a class using royalty-free photos from stock photo sites, and guess what? He got an A+.

General consensus is that you had a skill issue.

And they still are, though the amount of "AI art" slop infesting those sites means it's now *harder* for people to find free, high quality images than it was a decade ago. Why you chose a problem that the rise of generative LLMs made worse as your argument for LLM usage is inexplicable to me.

The wheel filled a previously unfilled need. The use case you put forward is students trying to put images in their PowerPoints, which no student struggled with before generative LLMs because both clip art and royalty-free image repositories were freely accessible.

I'm not sold on Hagar, though. If the idea is to include all the ancestors of the Jewish people, Hagar doesn't belong there. On the other hand, if the idea is to include all the spouses of the patriarchs, why Hagar but not Keturah?

As the girl who protested when my childhood shul reversed the order of "Leah and Rachel" to "Rachel and Leah" because chronological order seemed fairer than bowing to Jacob's biases, I love the idea of giving Bilhah and Zilpah their due!

One says only "God gives life to all" and the other is a 200-page list of various rabbis' interpretations of what "God gives life to the dead" might mean.

"also some of the prayerbooks that list Rachel first end with 'v'ezrat Sarah' and some end with 'ufokeid Sarah' (and add 'fokeid' into the previous line, too) and that's not even touching the prayerbooks that don't include or provide the option of not including the matriarchs at all..."

Turkey ranks below chicken on the poultry tastiness scale (and both rank below duck) but the dark meat is still delicious, IMO.

Thanks, I hate it.

I know exactly two things about my namesake, Aunt Sarah:

1. ruthless, vicious card player
2. was sponsored for immigration by family, took a job in their factory, and unionized it against them

So...
