My curtains have made a camera obscura of the flats opposite. It’s going to be sad to leave. Where shall I go? I just need to be near-ish an airport and fairly cheap. By the coast is a bonus.

A junk shop roll of found photos so old the text from the backing paper has etched in over the years. Kodacolor II was made from 1973 to the early 80s and the clothes/space-age garden furniture seem to say 70s. Transmissions from a lost world.

Scanning & splicing expired Kodachrome developed in coffee / caffenol- some strange colour splashes on this reel. Always nice when the air temperature matches the development temperature

Highlands on 16mm Beaulieu R16. Using fresh stock-Kodak vision 3 50D-and getting it machine processed looks so different to my usual expired film/home developer combos, almost like digital the grain is so fine. It’s a lot more expensive of course! Took an unglamorous 12.5hr coach to get these shots

‘A Portrait of Jennie’ (1948) is such a strange beautiful flawed patchwork: fragments of time and materials and light and colour, I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m interested in recommendations of anything that comes close. Cracking soundtrack of Debussy mixed with Bernard Herman theremin too.
