This is a galette des rois ! The same type (couronne) that we find in the southwest of France. It even has a bean in it (a fève). And it's an Elizabethan recipe! www.theguardian.com/food/2025/au...

When Max and I walked in the museum gardens, we saw a sign about the hosepipe ban which had just come in, and as we walked past it got soaked by a perforated hosepipe.
