I have been so encouraged and motivated by so many, including
@jesscraven101.bsky.social's "Chop Wood, Carry Water" advocacy newsletter.

Nearly daily calls and emails to my GOP state and federal reps and senators. I'm never really heard, always receiving a canned response. One state rep replied supporting what I shared (shoutout to Iowa Rep Sean Bagniewski). It's exhausting. But we continue.

i regularly have to remind myself that what i can do is get off my phone, and work within my spheres of influence to make a difference…no matter how small that difference may be
