In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

No matter how hard people try to convince us having empathy is wrong,

it is right.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness,

it is a strength.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited,

it is unlimited.

CORRECTION: I regret to inform the masses that not only did I use "literally" twice in one tweet, I forgot the true villain- the people who pay the grounds crew and decide when/how they maintain the field
listen I'm gonna say it- when I can literally see the Pitt Script underneath the Steelers centerfield logo, there is literally no one to blame for the turf conditions other than the grounds crew

SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live.

Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:

* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled

* Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages

4) While Trump did this all his lackeys nodded along behind him at the press conference and this particular lie has barely gotten any news coverage.

Don't let him just say stuff!

3) I'm almost positive that number has been stuck in Trump's brain since 2016 and he just trotted it out again yesterday. Therefore, he described a(n inaccurate) total covering the years 2009-2016 as a "very short period of time" and used it to criticize JB Pritzker, who only became governor in 2018

2) In a presidential debate with Hillary Clinton on Sept. 26, 2016(!), Trump said “In a place like Chicago … almost 4,000 have been killed since Barack Obama became president.” (The actual figure was 3,691 murders in Chicago over Obama's presidency)

1) In a press conference yesterday, Trump justified calling troops into Chicago by saying, "Do you know they had over 4000 people killed in Chicago... they had 4000 people murdered over a very short period of time."

Where did he get that number? Funny answer...
