Brand new for Sakuracon are these AMV VIP cards🌸✨️ They have no monetary value and are more novelty than anything because editors have natural priority at all AMV events at Sakuracon (right behind ADA) but they're still cute! 🥰

Finalists are live!! We received so many quality entries this year that it warranted a second contest, so we will be showing the AMV Contest in MAIN EVENTS, and Overflow/Non-Finalists in the AMV Theater. Both shows are top tier so don't miss either one!

About our new rule against voice-cloning (Rule 12):

This is a serious ethical matter to us, and we want to ensure that Sakura-Con does not contribute to this problem. We hope other AMV events will follow.

About our new AI rule:

AI Tech raises ethics concerns. How that relates to AMVs, we don't yet know. We felt it's not right to ban AI tech (which we originally were) until we do.

So, our rule is simply this: If an entry uses AI in a way we subjectively deem questionable, we may DQ.

The 2024 Sakura-Con AMV Contest will be opening for submissions soon! Stay tuned!
