A bit of this and a bit of that. Mostly this.
Nothing but blue skies from now on...

I used to stay in Premier Inn hubs in London sometimes since 2019. The best feature was free in room movies. I stayed in Clerkenwell hub in Oct & there were no movies & no smart features. Staff had no clue. I emailed customer relations & they know zero about free movies. It's like being gaslighted

We are woefully ill-prepared for extreme weather. The Government must do more to back farmers, build resilience, and protect our food supply.

Reform accepted £9 million from a former Boris Johnson backer & crypto-multimillionaire.

Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.

Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on political donations.

It's a struggle to see the UK from space today as it's hidden behind this mass of cloud 🛰️

This is associated with a frontal system, responsible for bringing the wet start to December 🌧️

I am well practised in non-reaction. A woman screamed in my ear that she couldn't bring her cat into Lincoln and I didn't even flinch.
She then screamed Where's the reaction?! I just carried on walking.

Many might think about the next step: join.greenparty.org.uk
A poll of readers of my monthly newsletter (464 responses) shows that 44% of them say they voted #Labour in 2024 but only 7% would vote that way in a general election tomorrow.
Massive swing to the #Greens.

The last ever dolphin message was misinterpreted as a surprisingly sophisticated attempt to do a double-backwards-somersault through a hoop whilst whistling the "Star Sprangled Banner", but in fact the message was this: So long and thanks for all the fish.

I really dislike secret santa.
Buying stuff for people who probably won't like what you bought them, needless spending and having to look pleased when you open a present you probably don't want or need. Bah humbug.
Give some money to UNICEF, RNLI or Trussell Trust instead.

Have been staying in some hotels for work recently.
Preferred Travelodge Super room (£177) to Holiday Inn Express.(285)
Larger room, more surface room by sink, better,TV channels.
Liked the new Travelodge shower and the coffee maker.
HIE included breakfast but wasn't impressed.

Tommy Robinson openly celebrating Labour's new asylum seekers policy should tell everyone exactly how far right Labour are now.

Labour, Reform and Tories are all the same. Right wing parties only interested in making money for their donors.

Do not vote Labour.
The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far-right.

There is a political alternative that won’t ever scapegoat those fleeing war, persecution and torture

I came to this country as a child refugee. No English, no certainty, no idea what my life could become. Britain gave me refuge.

Not on a timer, not with conditions attached, but with a chance to grow roots.
