I’ve so enjoyed helping to put on these Repair Cafe events - the last one had so many new faces. The next event will be on Saturday 25 October and it would be great to see more newcomers.

The Cape Town Repair Cafe is going to be at a new venue tomorrow and I’m holding thumbs it goes well - this event has been such a bright spark over the last two years for me and I’m glad to be able to help keep it running (and hopefully growing).

The camera itself! In the Files app just open the folder you want to save the pdf to, click the 3 dots menu in the top right and select “Scan Documents”. Lets you scan and save the pdf directly to your phone or iCloud/other cloud service.

So yesterday I got a woodworking tutorial from a family friend and we made this wooden lucet which I’m now using to make some thin, strong cord from blue yarn. The cord will form part of another, bigger project I’m working on that needed a matching cord.
