Moon on my neck, I feel it come. I’m standing here, like a burning house.

Oh god, when he did that live I thought my heart was going to burst. Part of me wanted it to be longer, but it’s the briefness of it that just makes it hit harder.

Some great stuff later on, but those first four tracks are pretty full-on. The brooding Monkey, the pop-tastic California, the bloody heavy stomp of Everybody’s Song, and the utter grace of Silver Rider. Yeah. It’s another one that is up there…

Yeah - whether it’s those songs, or the slowcore of Words, or the more straightforward songs like Something’s Turning Over, they still sounded like Low.

I struggled with Alan’s vocal effects on the first solo lp, but I adore Get Still 🤷, and live it carried so much emotion.

My favourite has and does change a lot - it’s been Things We Lost In The Fire, C’mon, and is probably Drums And Guns at the moment, but I’m back into the Lifetime of Temporary Relief (early) stuff currently. All good though isn’t it. ✅

Took me a while to click in with it for some reason, but I got there. Great stuff.

Also ones bought on Bandcamp only of course too…

It’s less guitar-oriented than Western Cum and less country than Pale Horse Rider. Still excellent of course

Yeah - mostly individual songs have stood out - rather than having a totally consistently great collection of tracks across a whole album.

Great choice 👏
