Saw them support Spiritualized in May ‘92. Main memories are Richard in barefoot messiah mode, and that for Spiritualized we all sat on the floor (so presumably did for Verve too).

Gig seemed pretty short (?)
Lukas started brilliantly - with added strings from support act FEN for incredible versions of The High Room & Words In The Rind, then he “played what the fuck (he) wants” - cue lots of shouting at the floor! 😳
